PHySIS
PHySIS (Sparse Signal Processing Technologies for HyperSpectral Imaging Systems) is a two-year international project funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 program. Its aim is to tackle the processing of hyperspectral data, i.e. data obtained from across the electromagnetic spectrum, in real time. Research done within PHySIS spans the whole process of dealing with such data, from their acquisition to their exploitation in realistic conditions. PHySIS collaborators hail from research institutes and companies located in Greece (FORTH and NOA), France (CEA), Belgium (IMEC) and Italy (PLANETEK).
