Location of IAP

The IAP is located in the heart of Paris near the Place Denfert-Rochereau. The address is 98 bis boulevard Arago, 75014 Paris.

Public transport access:

  • Métro: stations Saint-Jacques or Denfert-Rochereau (lines 6 and 4)
  • RER B: station Denfert-Rochereau
  • Bus: 38, 68, 88 (Denfert-Rochereau), 59 (Arago - Saint-Jacques)

Getting to Paris.

Downtown Paris is very conveniently reached by fast train, international train stations are Gare du Nord (from Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Germany),
Gare de l'Est (from Germany), Gare de Lyon (from Switzerland, Italy, Spain). From Italy and Spain downtown Paris can be reached by direct trains in 6-8 hours.

Paris also has two international airports, CDG - Charles de Gaulle, and ORY - Orly.

Getting to IAP.

You can reach the IAP from Paris international train stations and airports by commuter train (RER), metro, and bus:

  • From Gare du Nord: take the RER B heading South, direction Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse or Robinson, until Denfert-Rochereau, or the metro line 4 heading direction Montrouge, until Denfert-Rochereau. Travel Time: 20 min.
  • From Gare de l'Est: take the metro line 4 heading direction Montrouge, until Denfert-Rochereau. Travel time: 20 min. Or walk to Gare du Nord (15 min) and take the RER B. 
  • From Gare de Lyon: take metro line 14, direction Olympiades, change at Bercy to metro line 6, direction Etoile, until Saint-Jacques. Travel time: 20 min.
  • From Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport: take any RER B train to Denfert-Rochereau. Travel time: 45 min.
  • From Orly (ORY) airport: take the automatic train Orlyval up to Antony station, then take RER B heading North, direction Aeroport Charles de Gaulle or Mitry-Claye, until  Denfert-Rochereau (all trains stop there). Travel time: 40 min. You can also take the Orlybus to Denfert Rochereau. Travel time: 35 min.
